These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the ALTARYS DTP LTD website (“the Website”) and all Desktop Publishing (“DTP”) services we provide (“the Services”). By accessing the Website or commissioning any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. Scope of Services

ALTARYS DTP LTD provides digital Desktop Publishing services including multilingual layout, typesetting, document adaptation, file preparation, accessibility formatting, and quality checks. We do not provide translation or interpreting.

  1. Orders & Project Acceptance

A project is accepted once the client provides all required materials and ALTARYS DTP LTD confirms acceptance in writing.

  1. Delivery of Services

Delivery dates are estimates unless explicitly confirmed. Timelines may adjust if files or requirements change. Deliverables are supplied digitally.

 

  1. Client Responsibilities

The client must supply accurate materials, hold all required rights, and give clear instructions. We are not liable for errors arising from client-provided content.

  1. Prices & Payment Terms

Quotes are valid for 14 days. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice. Files may be withheld until payment is received. Late payments may incur statutory fees.

  1. Revisions

Projects include the agreed number of revision rounds. Additional revisions or content changes may incur extra charges.

  1. Confidentiality & Data Protection

All client materials are confidential. ALTARYS DTP LTD complies with UK GDPR and ICO standards. Files may be stored securely unless deletion is requested.

  1. Intellectual Property

Final deliverables become client property upon full payment. ALTARYS DTP LTD retains rights to internal templates and methodologies.

  1. Limitation of Liability

ALTARYS DTP LTD is not liable for indirect, economic, or consequential losses, nor for errors in client content. Total liability is limited to the project fee.

  1. Cancellation

If a client cancels after work begins, fees for completed work apply. Deposits may be non-refundable.

  1. Force Majeure

ALTARYS DTP LTD is not liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control including outages, strikes, or natural disasters.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  1. Changes to Terms ALTARYS DTP LTD may update these Terms at any time.
